About Larry

Larry was a missionary kid and a registered orthopedic and pediatric charge nurse. He has bachelor's degrees in Communications cinematography photojournalism news writing and reporting and loves to do documentary stories with photos he also has a bachelor's degree in religion from Hong Kong.

 Larry grew up in Hong Kong and Taiwan he got his bachelor's degree in religion from South China Adventist college in Clearwater Bay Hong Kong. He has made numerous trips into mainland China for his Arts of Asia antique store and he speaks Mandarin and there's is a book about his early life called Treasures of Taiwan his picture is on the cover with his sister photo to be attached having traveled to many countries of the earth over 40 of them buying for his shops doing antique shows and establishing at antique malls he has helped over 350 people get into the antique business and taught introduction to antiques through Cal State San Bernardino California. He has established antique malls in Redlands , Beaumont as well as in Oklahoma in Mansville. His wife found him in the yellow pages under Chinese antiques in Riverside California where he was working as a registered nurse. She had taken a trip into China but was unable to buy the items that you wanted as the bus was leaving and the people were in a hurry so she looked up my ad under Chinese antiques and married him to get the rest of the collection. She was an older doctor's wife and lived to be 92 passing away in 2008 in Manitou Colorado after a 25 year marriage to Larry. Larry had several antique shops in Manitou Springs where he worked as a jeweler and had a pawn shop. He owned Antique Bazaar you also have the Leprechaun and antiques and arts of Asia. Afterwards it came to Florence and established several stores and now he owns the one on the corner of Petroleum  and Main called Florence Antiques and also has the Antique Bazaar at 108 and 110 East Main Street. Larry does antique shows estate sales appraisals and rent spaces and cases in his stores for over 41 years.
